Nutrition to Elevate Performance

With Speaker:

Rebecca Toutant, MD, RD, LDN, CDCES, cPT

Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and Certified Personal Trainer

Taking your athletic performance to the next level isn’t just about putting in the training – it’s about how you support your body and mind along the way. Getting the amount and types of nutrients plays a major role in the process.

Unfortunately, much of what we see in the media about “healthy eating” is not in line with performance and leads many athletes to sacrifice their potential. In this 45-minute talk, we’ll learn how to give our body the foods (and nutrients) it needs to take our performance to the next level in a way that supports the mind and the body.

Together we’ll explore

  • sustainable approaches to nutrition before, during, and after training
  • simple and convenient foods and recipes to support the journey
  • signs, symptoms, and consequences of under fueling
